Recap — 2025
ICDC is the International Career Development Conference which was held at the Marriott Marquis from April 5–8, 2025. As a newly founded chapter, we were recognized on stage. Fourteen members represented UNC Charlotte at the international level and we had six finalists.
Events & Participation

Board Accomplishments
- All dues were paid within the allotted time
- Prepared students for competition (presentations, meetings, guest speakers)
- Managed hotel logistics and chapter background setup
Notable Results
AJ participated and placed in two events: Human Resources Management Case Study and Advertising Campaign (Prepared Event). Pratik & Arnav participated in Business Research and placed 8th nationally — Pratik led much of the written submission while Arnav led app development. Tejhas also competed in Start-Up Business and placed third overall. Tejhas competed individually for the first time at this scale and succeeded.
This experience allowed members to network, work with others, and represent UNC Charlotte on the DECA stage.
Classroom Connection
Extend learning beyond the classroom. As part of the Competitive Events Program, members participate in the Professional Development Series. Sessions take place on Sunday and are required for all competitors. Topics include:

- Marketing & Communications

Transportation
Book your flights to Louisville, Kentucky for ICDC 2026. We recommend arriving by April 17 and departing April 22 to accommodate the full conference experience and travel time.
